The job holder is to assist the Head of Product Control and the team in supporting various MI and other reporting requirements of the team. This will entail month end, daily, quarterly reporting and annual activities such as Budgets and forecasts. This role requires good technical and communication skills to ensure smooth business support and analyzing the financial performance. The incumbent is also expected to act as a backup for the Manager – Product Control in reviewing the daily P &L Reporting process and provide business support.
Understand and adhere to the group’s product segment matrix reporting which helps the stakeholders in understanding the product offering across segments and helps them in taking key cross selling profitability decisions.
Ensure that the submission from Business are accurately reflecting under each desk in Hyperion
Providing Business additional support to assist them in arriving at the realistic budgeted and forecasted numbers
Validating and challenging Business assumptions to maintain independence in the overall exercise
Support Business on adhoc requirements to In-depth analysis of monthly performance
Providing key reports such as monthly packs, CEO packs on a timely basis
Closely working with Tanfeeth on the deliverables
Assist in automation of reports and packs being shared
Tracking and posting Month end entries
Hands on experience in Hyperion.
Close coordination with International location and alignment of reporting
Egypt Integration with UAE and other locations
Support Sales and ALM team with their Adhoc requirements to provide them better insight on profitability and assist them manage their funding center profitability.
Closely working with the ALM finance team for analyzing product level FTP affecting TRY segment and product assist them in arriving at key conclusion
Closely track the costs of the business and providing timely highlighting risks to the costs helping the business to stay within the budgeted costs.
Provide Business Requirement Document for new system implementation and upgrades to existing systems.
Perform User Acceptance Testing for projects
Prompt and regular updates to Business will key in this role which will help in enhancing the business finance function
University Degree or a qualified accountant (ACCA, CFA, CIMA, ACA) preferable
Experiences, Knowledge & Skills:
Banking & Financial Services, GCC, Treasury Finance
Should possess knowledge of Treasury products & transactions and have knowledge of relevant banking regulations.
Commercial acumen, an enquiring mind and an understanding of the market and financial dynamics would be a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of treasury relates systems and valuation tools, familiarity with independently sourced market data, ability to articulate complex concepts to colleagues and management.
Knowledge and experience in Calypso/ Treasury system are desirable
Ability to work independently
Comfortable to work in a multi-cultural environment. Good interpersonal skills to liaise with various departments such as IT, Operations and Front Office.
