Role Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible of the company growth by maximizing existing business and developing new ones. S/he will manage the Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution Center.

Position Location: Dubai, UAE

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, Sustain and Develop relationships with business partners and stakeholders
  • Develop New Markets worldwide
  • Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling diverse suite of services
  • Strategically plan and manage the complete transaction cycle: receiving, picking, packing, dispatching
  • Coordinate between all Company Hubs in USA, UK, China, UAE, KSA, India, Germany, etc.
  • Promote Platform’s brand and presence in the market
  • Design solutions to help customers solve their Logistic challenges through face-to-face interaction with accounts
  • Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within the customers organization
  • Collaborate with account managers to bring them pricing options and recommendations
  • Identify issues, seeking input from others to determine best course of action and implement solutions
  • Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of SOPs, KPIs and other account specific metrics
  • Collaborate on creating business reviews and contribute to or lead customer meetings
  • Supervise the transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, warehouse activities, safety performance, logistics quality management and customer service, and deal with related problems
  • Keep track of quality and ensure , delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development in Logistics industry (package forwarding experience will be preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to build strategic customer relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • English and Arabic are a Must
  • Experience in the Gulf Market is Must

Education:
– BS in Business Administration or related field
– Certification in Logistics and Supply Chain is preferred
