Our client is going through an exciting period of change and development and we are looking for a Finance ERP Consultant to help them identify options, select and implement a new finance system. This role will work closely with the Project Director and senior stakeholders and will have a critical impact on the organisation. The organisation is a Special Purpose Vehicle put in place to develop an approximate $10bn international project. The finance system is required to be set up to operate and manage the execution phase of the project which will be done via an Engineering Procurement and Construction mechanism. The system will thereafter be available to manage the operation of the facility throughout its 30 year operational life.
As a Finance ERP Consultant, duties will include but are not limited to, scoping, selecting and implementing an accounting / ERP system, completely running the project to ensure an aligned, standardised model is implemented across the organisation, working with internal and external stakeholders and delivering the project effectively. Duties will also include, taking full ownership of the project from the beginning, working closely with business sponsors, building effective relationships, ensuring effective stakeholder management, running the project from start to end, managing the project effectively, ensuring budgeting and planning takes place throughout the project, effectively sourcing a new fit-for-purpose accounting / ERP System which meets the requirements of the organisation, managing and leading design workshops, drafting and approving the business case, defining a needs-specification, working with procurement to ensure an efficient procurement process is in place for the project, ensuring a full cleansing and migration of data, managing the roll out effectively, including training, testing and ensuring a smooth transition in a period of change, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties. Following successful implementation, duties will include managing an administration team to ensure the smooth operation of the system over the project life and oversight of adjustments to the system to suit operations.
The successful candidate will:
- Have led successful ERP implementations ESSENTIAL
- Be a Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
- Have expert accounting knowledge across a variety of accounting streams ESSENTIAL
- Have tested systems previously ESSENTIAL
- Have led on a project previously ESSENTIAL
- Implementation across multiple tax jurisdictions (various countries) PREFERABLE
Skills / Qualifications:
- University Bachelor-level degree
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Apart from the essential attributes listed under the profile section, the candidate should also have:
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint
- Flexibility to cover some out of office hour’s work, as required
- Willingness to undertake international travel, as required
