Babyshop Concept

Key Responsibilities

1.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

Focus on all mid management hiring ( shortlisting,scheduling, interview, selection, negotiation and offer acceptance).

Support the Head – HR in hiring the senior management roles.

Ensure effective utilization of the local recruitment quota (nationalisation target).

2.

Talent Management

Design, review and execute talent management, leadership development, and organizational development projects.

Identify key talent pools e.g., Core functions, functional leaders, and design and build talent programmes that help to build the critical capabilities and mobility of the talent pools.

Assess and design necessary development to fill gaps in the talent pipeline for high potential and high performing employees, or key teams and skills sets.

3.

Business People Review & Retail Productivity

Plan and prepare annual manpower plan and budget for the Concept across GCC.

Drive retail productivity, operational efficiencies & customer service.

BPR review & cost management.

Support business initiatives to develop a performance driven, customer-oriented culture.

4.

Employee Engagement & Relations

Developing programs and methods for engaging the employees toward the success of a goal

Introduce Employee Retention/Recognition Programmes such as Employee of the month, Long Service Award etc for the Concept.

Manage the Human Resource Information system effectively to ensure that correct and complete information is stored in the system and is used effectively for the benefit of the organization.

Manage the employee separation process, thereby ensuring smooth exit of employee from the organization. This may include managing activities such as exit interviews, full and final settlement, etc

5.

Performance Management, Rewards & Recognition

Facilitate the performance management process in the Concept.

Ensure communication and implementation of the performance management system to enable enforcement same across the Concept .

Create a culture of setting goal, timely review and feedback among the senior employees and head of functions within the Concept .

Support the Head HR in increment planning, incentive allocation and policy review for the Concept .

6.

Change Management & HR Projects

Provide strategic support to Concept Head for all change management activities

Propose and execute changes/improvements within Human Resources to introduce best practices.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the Concept.

Minimum Experience

8-10 years of experience in Human Resources

Skills and Capabilities

Advanced knowledge of HR processes/policies (Management Development initiatives/ administration,Recruitment/ Expatriate Recruitment tools & Competency Based Hiring,Compensation modeling,Performance Management Systems and Models )

Awareness of the local labour law and legal compliance

Teamwork & collaboration

Communication & Networking skills

Commercial & Analytical skills
